THDP-IXP425-II is a successor of
THDP-IXP425-I from Tenhz Software, which is customized
to meet the requirements of network security and network
storage applications. It is a ready-to-go prototype for
applications in the area of multi-port network access
and network storage products, such as high-end firewall,
VPN, Mail Filter, SAN (Storage Area Network) device,
network database device, security SOHO router/gateway
and so on.
IXP425 provides on-chip Network
Processor Engine (NPE) for wire-speed network processing
performance. It also provides integrated hardware
acceleration of popular cryptography algorithms (SHA-1,
MD5, DES, 3DES, AES) for secure applications, high-speed
serial ports and Utopia2 for WAN connectivity, 32-bit
33/66 MHz standard PCI v2.2 host and option interface
for glueless connection of up to four devices.

include: NPE1 10/100M Ethernet, NPE0 10/100M 4-Port
Ethernet Switch, 2 Intel 82559 PCI Ethernet, 44-pin IDE,
Mini-PCI Socket, DB-9 RS-232 Serial, 10-pin Modem UART,
RTC and LED Indicators. |
