THDP-IXP425-I is the first IXP425 development
board from Tenhz software, which is especially for
low-cost SME (Small-to-Middle Enterprise) and SOHO
(Small Office Home Office) network access applications,
such as WLAN AP (Access Point), ADSL Router and VOIP
gateway.
IXP425 provides on-chip Network
Processor Engine (NPE) for wire-speed network processing
performance. It also provides integrated hardware
acceleration of popular cryptography algorithms (SHA-1,
MD5, DES, 3DES, AES) for secure applications, high-speed
serial ports and Utopia2 for WAN connectivity, 32-bit
33/66 MHz standard PCI v2.2 host and option interface
for glueless connection of up to four devices.
The available peripherals in
THDP-IXP25-I include:
NPE1 10/100M Ethernet, NPE0 10/100M 4-Port Ethernet
Switch, PCI Socket, Mini-PCI Socket, DB-9 RS-232 Serial,
RTC and LED Indicators. |
